2022 50c 50th anniversary of the Tamworth Country Music Festival

In 1973, Tamworth hosted the first-ever Country Music Festival, which has since grown into Australia’s largest music festival, held over ten days each January. Globally, Tamworth’s festival is second in size only to the world-renowned event in Nashville, Tennessee, which began in 1972. In 2022, the Tamworth festival celebrates its 50th anniversary, commemorated with this special 2022 50c Uncirculated Coin.
