In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Rotary Clubs in Australia, the Royal Australian Mint has released a special One Dollar Uncirculated commemorative coin.
Since 1921, Rotary has grown to include over 1,100 clubs across Australia, with more than 30,000 members. The first Australian charter was established in Melbourne, followed closely by Sydney. These Australian clubs are part of a global movement of 1.2 million Rotarians in nearly 33,000 clubs worldwide. Dedicated to promoting goodwill, peace, cultural understanding, and community service, Rotarians work tirelessly to make the world a better place.
